About Hisaab Tools

Hisaab Tools is a small collection of free calculators for everyday Indian money questions: GST, salary, savings and loans. It is built and maintained by Koushik Romel, a software developer based in India.

How the calculators are checked

• Every rate or rule links to its official source (GST Council, CBIC, PIB, Income Tax Department), with the date it was last checked.
• Each calculator has automated tests with worked examples, run before every update.
• Money is calculated in whole paise to avoid rounding errors.

The calculators give estimates for information. They are not tax, legal or financial advice. For a filing or an invoice that matters, check with a chartered accountant or the official portal.
